The Competition Cams 31-226-3 Magnum camshaft features 280° of advertised duration on both intake and exhaust, 230° duration at .050, .512″/.512″ lift and a 110-degree lobe separation angle. This aggressive hydraulic flat tappet profile increases volumetric efficiency and shifts the powerband upward, delivering stronger mid-range acceleration and harder top-end pull. The .512″ lift opens the valves deep into the cylinder head’s high-flow zone, while the 230° @ .050 duration extends airflow timing for substantial gains in performance.
