Designed for Ford 221, 260, 289 and 302 flat tappet engines, this kit delivers a major upgrade in sound, throttle response and mid-range torque. The 31-603-5 camshaft features aggressive specifications, including 295 and 312 degrees advertised duration, 243 and 257 degrees duration at .050, .512 and .497 inches of lift and a tight 107-degree lobe separation angle. These camshaft characteristics create high valve overlap for the signature Big Mutha’ Thumpr choppy idle while improving cylinder scavenging and airflow for stronger mid-range acceleration.
