The Competition Cams 54-701-11 Stage 1 Thumpr hydraulic roller camshaft is built for GM LS Gen III/IV engines — perfect for drivers who want a noticeable power increase and that classic V8 rumble. With 0.541″ intake / 0.536″ exhaust lift, this cam opens the valves deeper than stock and allows your LS to move more air and fuel. That means smoother combustion, stronger throttle response, and improved power delivery from idle through highway RPM.
With 222° intake / 233° exhaust duration at .050″, the valves stay open long enough to give the cylinders a fuller air/fuel charge, improving torque and throttle response across a broad RPM range.
