Designed for 1969–1991 non-roller Ford 302 hydraulic flat tappet engines, this package provides aggressive top-end power, exceptional airflow improvements and a loud, choppy race-inspired idle.
The Competition Cams 31-330-3 Magnum camshaft delivers 292 degrees of advertised duration, 244 degrees duration at .050, .534″/.534″ lift and a 110-degree lobe separation angle. These specifications place this cam among the most aggressive hydraulic flat tappet profiles available for the small block Ford. The .534-inch lift allows the valves to open deep into the most efficient airflow region of the head, while the extended 244° @ .050 duration increases the time the valves stay at high lift, improving combustion efficiency and upper-RPM horsepower.
