The 12-433-8 camshaft features .520″/.540″ lift, 236°/242° duration @ .050, 288°/294° advertised duration, and a 110° lobe separation angle. These specs create a cam designed for strong cylinder filling and improved exhaust scavenging. The high lift opens the valves deep into the head’s high-flow region, while the extended duration at .050 keeps them open through the most efficient airflow portion of the cycle. This combination builds stronger cylinder pressure and results in a broad, aggressive torque curve.
