Included are the Competition Cams 11-422-8 Xtreme Energy hydraulic roller camshaft, Redline Performance link-bar lifters and a billet steel double roller timing set designed to provide precise, reliable valve timing.
Featuring .510″/.510″ lift, 270°/276° advertised duration, 218°/224° duration @ .050 and a 110° LSA, this camshaft improves the breathing efficiency of big block Chevy engines. The .510″ lift moves the valves deep into the high-velocity flow zone, increasing air and fuel intake volume. Combined with the 218°/224° duration @ .050, the cam provides extended valve-open time during peak airflow, building higher cylinder pressure and producing stronger torque and acceleration in the 1,600–5,400 RPM range.
The 110° lobe separation angle sharpens mid-range response while retaining the idle quality and vacuum needed for street use. This makes the 11-422-8 one of the best all-around performance cams for big block Chevys running performance heads, headers, upgraded induction and proper tuning.
