Brian Tooley Racing’s Stage 4 is the most aggressive grind in their revamped V3 LS Truck camshaft lineup — the result of their most extensive truck cam development program ever. With an 8/10 chop rating, a very aggressive idle, and a 2,200–6,700 RPM operating range, this is not a subtle upgrade. Dyno testing on a stock Gen IV 5.3L produced gains of 72+ horsepower, 24+ lb-ft of torque, and over 1,000 additional RPM of usable power. If your truck spends more time at the track or cruising than it does hauling, this is the cam grind that was built for you. This kit pairs the BTR Stage 4 V3 camshaft with everything needed to support it properly. The Redline PAC1219-style .625″ beehive valve springs are specifically matched to this cam’s .553″/.553″ lift specs — a spring upgrade is required for the Stage 4, and we’ve taken the guesswork out by including the right ones. Premium valve stem seals and a front timing cover gasket are also included, so your install is complete from the start. Every component in this kit is selected to work together and give you a reliable, high-performance result. A professional tune is required for both automatic and manual transmission applications. For automatic vehicles, a 3,200+ RPM stall converter is recommended for 4.8L and 5.3L engines, while 6.0L and 6.2L applications can work with a 2,800+ stall. VVT delete or 3-bolt conversion kits may be required depending on your specific engine configuration and are sold separately. This kit fits 1999–2013 GM Vortec 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, and 6.2L LS engines including Silverado, Sierra, Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, Escalade, and Avalanche platforms.
