Included are the Competition Cams 31-250-4 Xtreme Energy camshaft, Enginetech high-performance hydraulic lifters, Stage 2 performance springs with hardened retainers, a true double roller timing set and a matched set of 6.876-inch push rods.
The 31-250-4 camshaft features .541″/.544″ lift, 284°/296° advertised duration, 240°/246° duration @ .050 and a 110° lobe separation angle. With over .540″ lift, the cam opens the valves deep into the cylinder head’s most efficient airflow region. The long duration profile increases valve open time during peak airflow, boosting cylinder filling and combustion efficiency—resulting in a harder mid-range hit and a powerful top-end charge approaching 6,500 RPM.
The 110° LSA provides controlled valve overlap, enhancing intake charge velocity and exhaust scavenging. This produces sharper throttle response, quicker RPM climb and a deep, unmistakable performance lope at idle.
