The 31-601-5 cam features 279/296 degrees advertised duration, 227/241 degrees duration at .050, .491/.476 lift, and a tight 107-degree lobe separation angle. These specifications create high valve overlap for the signature Thumpr choppy idle while improving cylinder scavenging and mid-range performance. With an operating range of 2,000 to 5,800 RPM, this camshaft works extremely well in street performance and street/strip builds.
