The 11-601-8 features .558″/.542″ lift, 291°/311° advertised duration, 235°/249° @ .050 and a tight 107° lobe separation angle. These aggressive specs open the valves higher and keep them open longer, maximizing airflow and cylinder filling. The result is stronger mid-range torque, harder acceleration and a noticeably more responsive big block.
The tight 107° LSA increases overlap, producing the legendary Thumpr-series choppy idle that gives any big-block Chevy a loud, unmistakable muscle-car tone. This cam is engineered for engines equipped with performance heads, headers, intake upgrades and proper tuning.
