The 12-413-8 camshaft features .474″/.474″ lift, 220°/224° duration @ .050, 270°/274° advertised duration, and a 111° lobe separation angle. These specifications enhance the valvetrain’s ability to breathe by opening the valves deeper into the cylinder head’s flow window and keeping them open long enough for improved cylinder filling. The result is stronger mid-range torque, improved throttle response and a more engaging driving feel.
With the 111° LSA the engine delivers a mild yet noticeable performance lope, better sound and sharper acceleration while maintaining usable street vacuum. The included Redline Performance link-bar hydraulic roller lifters are matched to the cam’s hydraulic roller profile and ensure stable roller tracking, proper oiling and long-term durability.
