Developed for street/strip use on hydraulic flat tappet 221, 260, 289 and 302 engines, this cam brings significant upgrades in airflow, throttle response, mid-range torque and high-RPM horsepower, while keeping your everyday drivability intact.
This cam features .541″ intake / .544″ exhaust valve lift, 284° / 296° advertised duration and 240° / 246° duration at .050″ along with a 110° lobe separation angle. These specifications place it at the high end of the performance spectrum: the .540-plus lift allows the valves to open deep into your cylinder head’s best flowing region, while the 240°/246° @ .050″ duration ensures the valves remain open long enough to maximize cylinder filling and combustion efficiency at higher airflow velocities. The 110° lobe separation promotes strong valve overlap, improving exhaust scavenging, intake charge velocity and overall engine responsiveness.
On the road or strip, you’ll notice faster throttle response, a significantly harder pull through the mid-range, and a strong, aggressive pull toward the top end of the RPM band (approx. 2,300-6,500 RPM recommended).
