This complete performance valvetrain package includes the Competition Cams 31-330-3 Magnum hydraulic flat tappet camshaft, Enginetech high-performance hydraulic lifters, a true double roller timing set and a set of 6.876-inch performance push rods. Designed specifically for 1969–1991 non-roller Ford 302 hydraulic flat tappet engines, this kit delivers dramatic gains in airflow, throttle response, engine tone and top-end horsepower.

The Competition Cams 31-330-3 camshaft features 292 degrees of advertised duration, 244 degrees duration at .050, .534″/.534″ lift and a 110-degree lobe separation angle. This aggressive combination pushes the engine well into true street/strip territory. The .534″ lift opens the valves deep into the head’s high-velocity airflow zone, while the extended 244° @ .050 duration increases the time the valves remain open at high lift, improving volumetric efficiency and high-RPM performance. The 110° LSA adds substantial overlap, creating a very rough, race-style idle while enhancing exhaust scavenging and upper-RPM cylinder filling.

The included true double roller timing set keeps valve events accurate, reduces chain stretch and stabilizes cam timing under high load—critical for a camshaft with this level of lift and duration. The 6.876-inch push rods reestablish proper valvetrain geometry and add rigidity needed for higher spring pressures.
